Module 4 – Strategic Vision and Team Building
Leadership by Design – Track 1
Learning Objectives
- Define strategic vision from a biblical leadership perspective.
- Understand the connection between vision, mission, and daily ministry activity.
- Identify characteristics of a healthy ministry team.
- Apply practical steps for building and aligning a unified leadership team.
Teaching Content
Strategic vision is a Spirit-led, future-focused picture of what God desires to build through your leadership. It provides clarity, direction, and purpose.
“Write the vision and make it plain…” — Habakkuk 2:2–3
A true biblical vision answers: Where are we going? Why are we going there? What will it take? Who do we need with us?
Team building is vision alignment. A team is not just people doing tasks, but a united group moving toward a shared Kingdom assignment.
Scripture Integration
- Habakkuk 2:2–3 – Making the vision clear.
- Proverbs 29:18 – Vision gives life.
- Ephesians 4:11–13 – Equipping the saints for ministry.
- Nehemiah 2:17–20 – Vision that mobilizes people.
Reflection & Discussion Prompts
- Where is your ministry vision still unclear?
- How well does your current team understand the mission?
- What is one alignment conversation you need to have this week?
“Strategic vision defines direction; team building ensures movement.”
