  • Recognize factors that cause leaders to drift from purpose.
  • Identify rhythms that support long-term spiritual and emotional health.
  • Create a personal sustainability plan for leadership longevity.

Teaching Content

Finishing well is intentional—not accidental. It results from consistent surrender, discipline, and alignment with God’s purpose.

“I have fought the good fight...” — 2 Timothy 4:6–8

Leaders drift when they lose intimacy with God, discipline, accountability, clarity of purpose, or humility.

Healthy leadership requires rhythms of rest, prayer, accountability, learning, and emotional awareness.

Scripture Integration

  • 2 Timothy 4:6–8 – The call to finish well.
  • 1 Corinthians 9:24–27 – Running to win.
  • John 15:4–5 – Fruitfulness through abiding.
  • Psalm 1:1–3 – Stability through plantedness.
